2 April 2007. By Anders Riedel Not a single one below $100k Scary... Just saw the prices form the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction. Not a single 1967 Corvette sold below $100,000 - and there was 11 of them!!! The prices are going up on these beauties that's for sure. Even though they had a couple of higher priced cars last year (and the total revenue was a little bit higher), I can't recall that all of the 67's was priced above 100k. Wasn't there a couple of them in the mid-fifties range? All in all they sold Vettes for more than $6,000,000 (that's 6 million!). Priced the highest was a 1953 Triple Black Corvette. The highest '67 was a convertible, which was sold for a whooping $170,500. Then it's paid! Remember to add 10% commission ;). Below a video of the (presumably) last '67 Corvette sold at an earlier Barret-Jackson Auction. It went for $660,000 (including commission). I don't believe someone will ever drive it again, so whats the use? Hopefully I'm wrong - It deserves it! By the way... What's up with all the jodeling? Cut to the chase!
